Yield: 10 servings 4 eggs 16 Snickers bars 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons
smooth no salt peanut butter 2 cups flour 3/4 Teaspoon baking soda 1/4 Teaspoon salt 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 3
teaspoons vanilla 1 1/4 cup buttermilk Procedure: 1. Combine in the top of a double boiler the cut-up Snickers
bars, water, and peanut butter; Heat and stir until well melted and blended 2. COOL 3. Mix together the
flour, baking soda and salt 4. Set aside 5. In a large bowl, cream butter thoroughly; gradually add sugar
and beat until fluffy 6. Beat in 4 unbeaten egg yolks and add vanilla, beat in the cooled candy bar mix, mixing until
smooth 7. Stir in the flour mix alternately with the remaining 1 cup buttermilk, mix only until blended 8.
Gently fold in 4 stiffy beaten egg whites. 9. Divide batter evenly between 2 greased and floured 9’ SQUARE
pans and bake in preheated 350 oven for 45 - 55 minutes. 10. Cool in pans on rack for 5 minutes, turn out and finish cooling
on rack 11. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
