Sourdough Flap Jacks

The night before mix:

1 c. Culture (starter)
2 C, Warm Water
2 1/2 C. Flour

Add in the morning:

1 egg
2 Tbsp. Liquid Shortening
1/4 C. Milk

Sprinkle over batter; mix gently:

1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Sugar

Blend together and fold in gently.

Let set for a few minutes before using.

More milk may be added for thinner flapjack
