Spaghetti and Meat Balls

Ingredients:

Brown:
1/2 cup chopped onion in 3 tablespoos of cooking oil
ADD:
1 #2 can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans Tomato paste
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf

Cook slowly for 1 hour.  I have cooked in a crock-pot for 4 to 6 hours.

COMBINE:
3/4 pound ground Beef
1/2 pound graoun Pork
1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 sprig parsley, minced
1 cup milk
2 well beaten eggs

Mix thoroughly:  form into small balls, brown in hot oil, drain, add to sauce.

Cook spaghetti in boiling salt water until tender and drain.

Sever sauce with meat balls over hot spaghetti
